Is everyone in Geri Y Parc bound by covenants on their property e.g. prohibitation of parking commercial vehicles on their drive etc.? :confused:

I've no idea, guess it would be stated in the deeds. Why do you ask?

When we moved in here almost 4 years ago it stated it on our Deeds and having spoken to a few people it was the same for them, no commercial vehicles including caravans, motor homes etc. Recently I have noticed a few commercial vehicles parked outside houses overnight every night and we should all be restricted to the same covenants as they were placed by the developers. Just wondered if anyone could enlighten me on this.

My house was built by Barrett Homes. They told me that any convenants relating to the developer generally expire after 5 years.

My home in The Nurseries was built by Alfred McAlpine and when I moved in during 2001, I was told that the covenant concerning commercial vehicles, Sky dishes, aerials etc were only valid for a period whilst the builders were still selling their newly built houses.
