Calendar

The calendar (menu bar at top of screen) is viewable to all (only registered users can add events) and is useful feature that allows you to add local events that you think may be off interest to others. Once added, events occuring witihn the next 60 days appear at the bottom of the screen. Registered users can even request a reminder for desired events.

So if you're organising an event of know of an event that you think may interest others then please feel free to add it to the calendar.

Several users are posting about events but not using the calendar. I strongly suggest that you also post your event in the calendar, it will hlep a great deal in promoting your event. The email reminder option is invaluable. It's also very easy to add a reoccuring event, saves you having to readd the event for every occurence.
