READERS are reporting a serious accident on Newport's Langstone Road.
One eye-witness said 999 staff were resuscitating a motorbiker after his bike had gone through a fence near the Hilton Hotel at 3.30pm today.
The Wales Ambulance Trust said they sent a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance to the site.
A man in his 20s was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in cardiac arrest, the trust said.
No further details have yet been released on his condition.
Gwent Police have as yet refused to give out any details.
