I've emailed our local councilors in the past encouraging them to join this site and use it to relate relevant information to us all but have had no success to date. I was hoping the recent leaflet drop would provide further motivation, but no luck.

I'm sure they'd have plenty to contribute and so ask if you could individually email your councilor and encourage them to join this site please.

If you click on your councilors name on the home page of this site, that will kick off your email program prefilled with the councilors email address.

I am a local councillor and have posted on here many times. There are also other councillors from Langstone that post often on this site!

I was referring to the three Newport councilors.

Ah, These are our city councillors and there are 2 of them. I have a meeting with them tonight so I will ask them to register and answer questions if they can.

Admin, I note from the thread that you have not received anything in relation to "local councillors" since May. I thought SallieM was as a local councillor "was on the case" I myself have e-mailed our 2 "City Councillors" this evening in relation to parking problems in our locality and wait with bated breath" If I have no joy, do you think I should resort to e-mailing the "local councillors"?
