WARNING TO LANGSTONE RESIDENTS,

Overnight some kind, thoughtful person or persons decided to help themselves to my lawnmower from my garden shed in Court View.

Please take my misfortune as a timely reminder to look after your treasured posessions.

It has been reported to the Police but I do not hold out much hope of getting it back

Hey Ho just another sign of the times

Thanks for the heads up ccc49. Langstone is generally regarded as a relatively safe area but we're certainly not exempt from crime.

I had stuff taken from my unlocked car back December (http://langstonevillage.co.uk/showthread.php?t=34420) whilst on the drive in Priory Way (as did several others). This certainly was a wake up call for me.

I'm not so sure about Langstone being safe!

There have been at least three breakins in the Tregarn Road area in a space of weeks

In each case the houses were entered when the occupants were away on short breaks and ,as well as stealing goods, car keys were removed and the cars stolen as well so be warned!

As far as I'm aware no-one has been caught

I would have thought that now we are experiencing warmer weather with the obvious need to keep windows open, the'parasites' will take the first opportunity to take this as their invitation to enter our properties.

Perhaps our neighbourhood police officers might like to reassure us that they are increasing their patrols to ensure the safety of the Langstone residents.

With regards my loss. I telephoned one of 'our' officers and left a message on his mobile number the same day as my first posting. To date I still have not received a reply.

Be warned, Batten down the hatches and don't give the theives any opportunity

Why not start a Neighborhood Watch Scheme"?
