Fish 'n' Chips

Hello Langstone, I'm new to the village and this is my first posting.

I have read with interest all that has been put on this forum and would like to pose a simple question to all readers.

Please can anyone recommend a decent fish and chip shop within close proximity to the area? I've been to Magor but unfortunately Angelo's closes up well before 10pm. Any other options to investigate?:confused:

I can recommend the chip shop in Caerleon. It is probably the same distance as the Magor shop.

Alonzi's on Caerleon Road is not too far (just the next junction down on the M4, then take a left), and the best in my view!

Or you could try the Chinese Take away in Underwood, they actually make very good fish & chips :)

Try the chip shop in Pont Faen - great food, freshly cooked and very courteous service.

Highly recommended!!! :p
