Ladies as a qualified Beautician with 16 years under my belt I am concerned and horrified about these botox parties that are poping up. Fillers and botox when done properly can discreetly turn back years on a womans face giving a surge in confidence, however when done badly your in for months if not years of problems and disfigurement. Botox is a prescription drug only, you must see a registered and qualified Doctor before it is administered. There are about 87 fillers available in the UK but only a handful are approved and safe. So it is very important that you understand what filler is going to be injected into your face as Leslie Ash discovered. Had an approved filler been used to enhance her lip she would never have suffered like she did. No alcohol should be available at the time of your treatment. Alcohol thins the blood and you will suffer the complications of excess bleeding, brusing etc. No doctor would allow you to sign a consent form after having alcohol. So if you want this treatment done professionally and safely please do your homework. I have an experienced reputable female Doctor (Dr Joanna Longstaffe) that visits regularly consultations are free. However I am very happy to give YOU FREE ADVICE over the phone to help you choose a qualified doctor so you don't end up disfigured. I regularly have to refer clients that have had bad botox or a reaction to filler to Dr Longstaffe. Unfortuantely it is not always sortable. So be warned.
