When will the local council sort this problem out. How much more can we put up with?.
Ambulance, fire brigade ,police, bin men and every one else can not gain access to our road.
We have to reverse and go forward and back so many times due to the cars blocking this small road.
The bin men have given up (unlike us)
They now have to start extremely early to beat the parkers.
High ways don't want to know.
Doctors nurses have had major problems getting in and out.
When will it be sorted. We don't no.
May be if the Rider cup came early they would sort it.
We are very unhappy in our part of Langstone.

Alan

Is it cars parking at the village hall that are causing the problem?

No its not the road by the village hall.

Its the road down by Taylors old Cafe by the phone box.

Alan, do you know who is parking there?, presumably not people from the street?

It seems most of Langstone is suffering from acute parking problems. I live on Ger-y-Parc estate and we've had parking problems (http://www.langstonevillage.co.uk/showthread.php?t=47503) for some time which are only getting worse. In this case, the problem seems to be mainly caused by 'park & ride' arrangements and the double parking on Priory Drive by the office workers.

Perhaps the parking problems on Chepstow rd are of the same nature? If so, is there not something that be be legally done to prevent such parking? Would it be possible to introduce permit holders parking only to ensure that it is only residents parking in their own streets?

:mad2:I am also really unhappy about this problem.
My father has posted this listing.
We have had major problems recently getting in and out. Mum and dad were both very ill recently and I had major problems getting the emergency services in to them.
The people that park are car sharing. Great idea but not at our inconveniance.
I contacted Mr Kemp in highways and he told me there wasnt a problem.:mad2:
I am not amused:mad2:
They park so close to the drive even on it:mad2:
This is a problem now out of hand.
