Priory Drive Road

Good to see the road being resurfaced, a surefire sign that Newport council are adopting the road. Hopefully we'll see some real steps in tackling the parking along that road now.

I think this is the first time I've seen this road without a vehicle parked on it, even the estate was relatively clear of "day tripper" when I drove round it today @ 12:15 (20 Nov 2009).

Obviously the park & stride persons have found somewhere else to rest their cars for the duration of the road works, lets hope thyey stay there.

Yes, it was looking lovely and clear:clap2: but I also noticed the extra cars on Priory Way :(, but not actually that many. There was an 'overflow' on the stretch of road approaching Taylors roundabout but even with these, this still wouldn't total the number of cars that normally park along the length of Priory Drive.

So this begs the question, where did they all park? And why don't they park wherever they went to from now on?
