I'm a ukulele maker living in Underwood. Playing ukulele is real fun and making them is a great privilege. It's a craze 'sweeping' the country at the moment with several Festivals here in the UK this year, one just down the road in Cheltenham in June.

Is there any interest out there to starting a ukulele group? Reply to this thread if you are interested.

Well I don't own a ukele, nor can I play one, but as a great lover of all things bluegrass and banjo, it seems an easier starting point! I am happy to express a cautious interest ;)

Well that's a start. The great thing about the ukulele is tha anyone can play it - taught my daughter to play in just 30 minutes and any music works with it: check out The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain...
