Not exactly breaking news but an interesting read.

NEW ?7m OFFICES PROJECT AT LANGSTONE, NEWPORT

Property specialists Rombourne are constructing a new ?7m office development at the company's Langstone Business Park, near Newport.

30,000 sq ft Guinevere House is the third phase of the 85,000 sq ft, ?20m business park scheme on the M4 Coldra junction. It follows completion of 5,400 sq ft Excalibur House earlier in the year, and Rombourne?s Business Centre at Merlin House which opened last summer.

The three-storey, fully air-conditioned Grade A office accommodation will create 30,000 sq ft of office space and will be finished and available for occupation from January, 2008.

Rombourne property director Damian Stokes said: "Our continuing development of Langstone Business Park is further proof of our commitment to and investment in the City of Newport".

"We have long believed that this is one of the most important business locations in Wales with the site strategically placed at the intersection of the M4 and A449, providing fast access to Newport, Cardiff, Bristol and the Midlands."

"Guinevere House will be built to a very high specification. We always pay a lot of attention to the detail of the final fit and finish which is very important for today's business."

The joint selling agents for the Guinevere House development are DTZ Debenham Tie Leung and Fletcher Morgan, who will be leading the marketing campaign to attract business to the new project.

Rombourne?s Langstone Business Park will ultimately provide employment for more than 1,000 people and is experiencing strong demand from business on both sides of the Severn Bridge, with a number of companies re-locating from the Midlands and other regions of the UK

My only concern would be on road parking down Priory Drive. Cars are already a problem not to mention the littler and rubbish that is being deposited there.

I agree, parking is already currently a problem. The road in and out of the estate is effectivley one lane during the day. And the litter is a problem, especially McDonalds empties.

Plus the Coldra roundabout is already beyond capacity.

Why do you think the telephone/contact number no longer shows the number to ring to report misuse of this road? The clamping signs are still displayed along most of Prirory Drive but they no longer display a telephone number on them. Is there anything we can do about this?

This is silly - There are currently units that haven't been leased for years, why would more units be easier to lease?
