Hi,
My name's Paul Dack and I've lived in Langstone since 2000. Given the lack of any real local community spirit, I decided to launch this site in June 2008. The aim of the site is to try and build some community spirit in Langstone and provide a platform for discussions about local issues.
Anyone can access the site but to create a thread\post or upload a photo, you'll need to register as a user (requires valid email address). You'll then receive a email containing a confirmation link that you'll need to click to confirm your account.

I hope you find this site useful, informative and more importantly, that it goes some way into helping build a real community spirit in the Langstone area.
We're getting a lot of shy visitors so I've decided to allow guests post access to two forums on the site. So come on, no need to register to say something now.
Guests can post in the Anonymous Chat and Guest Book forums.
The Hurrans site is earmarked for a housing development of some sixty new homes. Do we really want the extra burden on the current road and sewerage infrastructure?
This development will go ahead and we have no chance of opposing it unless we all stand together and make our objections known.
